Ralph, if you haven't tried Ron's burners, you're missing a good thing. I'm pretty sure the burner that Daryl is referring to is the "Reil" burner:

This is the one I use in my forges, works well as a weed burner too, but doesn't do well if there is much of a breeze. I recommend you buy the stainless burner flares from Larry
Zoller:

They last a lot longer than steel, and work better than the ones I hand forged. There are lots of ways to attach the gas feed, especially if you have a welder.
