[TheForge] grease clearance?

i make an item (wheel) that has a 3/4 1018 cold finish shaft going thru a piece of dom seamless tube with a 3/4" hole. i run a .750 reamer thru the hole to clean it out.

i put a grease fitting on the tube but since they fit so close there isn't much room for grease. it goes in very hard if at all..

question is how much clearance does grease need? i could get an oversize reamer but i don't want a wobbly wheel.
