Larry,

         On the AFC website  http://www.afc.abana-chapter.com  in the 
projects/sign bracket workshop area there is a dodad that Clay Spence made 
for drawing ovals. Its made from a board with 3 pieces of track used for 
adjustable shelf rails. The arm is 1/4 round folded in half with bolt heads 
that ride in the track. At the end is a clip that holds the pencil/chalk.

I have other pictures of it if you cant figure it out form that photo. Id 
just need to scan them.

BTW I'll be in Louisville next week Monday afternoon thru Thurs. am.  I'm 
in and out of Louisville quite often as of late. I can bring the photos and 
maybe explain how the gizmo works if you want to meet.
