Hey all,
      Well the downpayment arrived!  There no backing out now!  THEY PAID ME!!! This is so cool.  
Is it bad taste to say how much?  Heck with it.  
The down payment was $1600. (250 per lamp for ironwork/ about 4 hour a lamp) That includes half the cost of the lamps, the glass installers fees, the painting (powder coat) fees and the estimate from Quicksilver Delivery.

    Now question for your experienced types...I told them half down and half on delivery.  If the building contractor is handling the payments but I am supposed to deliver them to the architect, would it be crass of me to ask the architect to have a check from the contractor in hand when I drop them off or should I have a contractor send me the final check and deliver the lamps after that check arrives arrives?
