Larry,

I did a web search and found a Filter Lens Shade Number Guide that looks 
like what you're looking for.  I think I'll be saving a copy for myself 
too.  It is a pdf file, so you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader or some such 
thing in order to read it.  You can find it at:
