I suppose.  But it doesn't seem to answer the question, at least to 
me.  Isn't there a rule of thumb for what shade is best for what?  Once you 
have a base point to start from you can adjust from there for the YRMV 
stuff.  It seems to me that having a suggested or typical starting point 
would be helpful.
