Lawler Foundry in Birmingham, AL has steel and cast iron lettering.  Check
their catalogue.  Although, it sounds like you are looking for things and
the smaller size.  Maybe check with an area trophy shop.

Anybody have a good lead on foundry letter sets, such as used for making
plaques and suchlike? It's getting to the point that I'm tempted to go
get some chocolate letters used for cake decorations and see if those work.

One company even sent me a catalog, and I tried to get them to sell me
a set, but they won't return calls or emails. Frustrating.
