Well, now I know more than before.  It has a big brother, but still in the 
bench top family.  Mine only has one chuck for the head stock and I can't 
spare it for you.  <grin>  You wouldn't happen to have an extra tail stock 
would you?

This little lathe has a self centering 3 jawed chuck on it, which is partly 
why I don't think it's original to the lathe.  I think it should have had a 
3-jawed chuck with independent jaws on a plate like you mention.

I take it that you have no idea who mfg'd your either?
