[TheForge] ETIQUETTE QUESTION

Daniel, thanks for your very generous and kind offer.
If we average 64 pages x 4 issues a year x 25 years,,,,, = 6400
pages for the Anvil's Ring x ( how many?) for Hammer's Blow
we are looking at what, 8,000 pages more or less. Scanning cost at least
a buck a page (How much Roy Wilson?) Then turning the scans into a
html file and correlating it with all the other pages and actually building
a web site with all that material,,, got to be worth another couple bucks
a page at least, so I guess that you are volunteering about $24,000 worth
of work. That is about a whole year worth of work to some folks.....
Pretty nice offer. And you are not even an ABANA member. (12-12-01)
It's not uncommon to pay $100/page to have a professional web site
built. plus the scanning, WOW, this could be worth over $800,000 !
I wonder what the hosting cost would be for a web site of 8,000+ pages?
Of course I'm just teasing, but you can begin to see the complications
of putting all that stuff on a web site. And we haven't even addressed
copyright issues...... I like Steve's idea of putting it all on CD's.
