[TheForge] bowie aka ron claiborne and roy wilson?

I don't know about Bowie but I seem to recall him saying he was unsubbing
due to time constraints. This is just from my memory so could be way off.

Roy on the other hand has a serious medical condition in addition to MS. One
of the treatments for the MS destroyed most of the cartilage in his joints
some years ago and he was on heavy pain meds. About a year ago the condition
escalated to the point he was pretty much incapacitated.

He replied to a private message from me about 10 months ago where he
outlined his condition. He said the morphine and other pain meds made it
nearly impossible to keep his mind working.

I've tried contacting him a couple times since but received no reply. The
messages don't bounce so I assume his accounts are still open but he's
unable to reply. Or more likely he has to manage his strength carefully.

From what he told me earlier, it's not life threatening like the MS but
there's little hope the pain will abate so he's stuck with ever increasing
doses of pain meds.

I don't send him messages often, I feel what time he has can be better spent
than shooting the bull with me. I hope an answer can be found for him before
the MS gets him; medical science is doing wonderful things lately.

I really miss him.
