Twenty or more years ago, the German Reiter air hammer made a big hit
upon its appearance in North America at an ABANA conference.  Then
there was some kind of hoo-rah surrounding Mr. Reiter, the details of
which nobody ever revealed to me.  The same hammer later emerged under
the Kuhn marque and was advertized in The Ring.

I haven't heard any mention of Kuhn recently. 

     They went out of business?

     The price is now astronomical?

     Completely uninteresting when you can build your own? :-)

I've used one of these a few times and like it a lot but it was way
out of my price range even years ago when it was already more than
ca. CAN$10K FOB somewhere far away and with a 3PH motor.

What happened to Reiter/Kuhn?
