Mike,

I agree with Steve Howell. The Ellis is the Cadillac. It is dry cutting so
no messy liquids. Their bimetal blades are great. The whole saw swings over
the table to setting up for miters is a breeze. All the fabricating shops
around here use them. And they are built close to you in Verona Wisconsin
(well close to Madison anyway).

What is the collective wisdom on looking
for a metal cutting bandsaw?
Brands? Manner of construction? Blade
length?
Whatever?

This may very well be on next years wish
list.
