[Jack Geisler]

One time I asked my friend Charlie Sutton about life working as a non
"artist blacksmith" when he was young.  Charlie was apprenticed in a
shipyard when he was 14 in the 1940's.  He corrected me with a simple
statement about the craft being art in itself.  He is right of course, I
wish I could find that letter, he said it much better than my memory
does.  

BTW, Charlie is a "real" blacksmith
