I am repairing the front doors on the DIA now...
I was just down there yesterday removing the the rotted esscusion plates at
the bottom of each door..
The doors were produced by Sam Yellen.
There is more of his work outside.
The large lamps outside on the main entrance and the split and drift window
grills on the outside (16) and the two balconies on ether end of the
building.
Also inside in the smaller restaurant is some of his work, that you can
touch and get a real close up view.
All this work is sam Yellen....
There is also some of his work in the main library just across the street
from the DIA, I think on the second floor..
Also there is a very nice gate inside At the end of the main entrance hall,
It is a bird and flower gate with side panels, this one was not done by
yellen but it's cool...

If you can get up to Ann Arbor you are welcome to stop by the shop.
I can take you to see two or three full tine smiths like myself.
