Thank you very much. You provided a great explaination of the
movement of the metal, texturing and how pure iron works compared to
mild steel. With the small amout of PI that I have used, I have also
found that it is more subject to bruises from the vise and tongs,
Soft jaws fix this. As for tongs, do the Jaw require some dressing?
like
bronze so that I have to pay more attention to 'process' and the
order of steps in making a piece.
