Darryl's a local legend around here.
Apparently his business really took off after he was asked to restore and enhance the exisitng ironwork around the lodge.
I had heard rumours of the shop in Portland that originally did most of the work back in the 30's; sounded like a west coast
Yellin type of operation.

Went to Mt. Hood yesterday to do a little hiking and to spy the ironwork at the Timberline Lodge.

The ironwork was very nice.  I had no camera with me, unfortunately.  However I would easily
recommend Mt Hood to anyone in the area, living or visiting, the lodge being well worth the
trip up.

Anyone know Darrel Nelson (I think that's his name) in Eatonville WA?  I've also been referred to
a guy named Ike Bay in Portland.  Smiths, that is.
