has always been pretty useful to me. There was this incredible book of 
Scythian art (largely metal, on topic) published in Russia (but written 
in English...). I asked at Tattered Cover in Denver about ordering it. 
They said that they recommended against; the last time they tried that 
publisher the book came in at $500 or so. I finally thought of 
bookfinder and found an excellent copy for $60 in England.

I've seen some amazing prices from Amazon on used books too. I stopped 
looking.
