For really cheap long distance you may want to look into a cell phone.  I
don't know much about it, but with our plan you get so many minutes a month
and it doesn't matter whether its long distance or local and on weekends the
minutes don't count towards your total.  I talked to my brother in Seattle
for 3 1/2 hours and I'm notoriously cheap.

PS, I won the raffle of a gas forge from the Alabama Forge Council,
Wiregrass Forge, and as soon as I can get a regulator will be trying it out.
It's a 10 inch pipe with castable refractory about 3" thick and an
atmospheric burner.  I've ordered an adjustable propane regulator with a
port for a gauge but may try it with my acetylene regulator while I'm
waiting for the other to come.  The Smith who told me how to set it up said
that an acetylene regulator is his preferred way to run it.  Opinions?
