        Rick,  HT in the case of Tru-square billets from a tool steel outlet
refers to Heat Treated.  This will make the material about 45-50 rockwell
which allows to be machined, but no wheres near like annealed can be
cut..........and in this heat treated condition it is usable with no
hardening and tempering proceedures - which is why some folks buy it as it
can be cut and used as is.   This is from chatting with one of the
metalurgists at Burgon Tool Steel.  (I'm not that smart).   :-)
