hello;

it would appear that qth.net has been hit by a
lack of funding. after reading the monthly reminder
several times it is not clear whether he is asking
for $15.00 once, or some unknown time period.

that seems like a good sum of money per person.
assuming for the moment that qth.net has 1000
members across all mailing lists hosted there.
that would be $15,000.00 usd per unknown time period.

in search out qth.net i found the below url.

this page gives the figure of 400,000 users.
400,000 users * $15.00 usd per user = $6,000,000.00 usd
per unknown time period.

the above url also states that qsl.net/qth.net/swl.net
is a hobby and not a business.

even not knowning what his wan connection is it is save
to say that $6,000,000.00 usd per unknown time period is
excessive. 

perhaps it is time to look for another host.
