  I just checked HastyBake's web site,  www.hastybake.com  they offer
hardwood charcoal for $19.95 for 50 lbs.   (five 10# bags), that's
cheaper than the other offers I've seen today. But still to high for
the volume I need, that's why my ears perked up at the mention of
"bulk" sources.  When I was buying the $6 a bag stuff, I wasn't in
commercial production.  If you check out their site, look at the
accessories  section of the catalog.
