Dan,
I had a job detailing structural steel with auto cad. But I haven't used it
for for my blacksmith work (yet).
The next time I get a gate, I intend to use Auto cad to layout the pieces so
I don't have to do so much figuring in the shop.

Are there many smiths out there using Auto-Cad to illustrate, plan,
explore, etc., iron projects on a regular basis? If so, in what way
most commonly? I'm wondering about its inclusion in a metalworking
curriculum. Thanks. Dan A.
