[TheForge] virus alert

I got the following message from someone just now.  (it was copy and pasted
not forwarded so it should be clean)  I have been getting similar messages
from unknown people.

 ie... "I just finished this new program hope you like it." titled "A Nice
Program"

I have been getting virus's from the emails even though they do not have
attachments. Back door Trojans.

Do not run or open anything from anyone you don't know unless you send for
something. And even then only if you have your virus definitions up to date.

Any windows patch or update you need you can get from microsoft and it will
install it's self. You go to Microsoft.com and  tell it to look for critical
updates and it will do the rest


Update them tonight. keep them up to date. I have been getting virus's from
emails that do not have attachments. I am not sure how it is happening yet
and I have not heard any rumours, but be very careful for a while.
