    Copper wire is drawn into square and flat shapes and can be bought
from sources familiar to any electric motor rewinder.  Phelps Dodge
probably makes it.  I have rectangular wire, 1/8x 3/8", had it too long
to remember the source.  Shops that do large truck electric will have
barrels of starter windings that are slightly smaller and unvarnished.
The product that you are looking for is called magnet wire and square is
as common as the flat.
