The middle east is a safer topic...

Difference between craftsman and artisan -- artisan get's listed earlier in 
the yellow pages.  

A lot of artisans I know have no problem with the craftsman/woman/whatever 
term, but use artisan to help justify the difference between high end 
contemporary or traditional craft and "church bazaar" craft.

Not that there's anything wrong with church bazaar craft...I personally would 
like much to see someone get contemporary crazy with plastic canvas.

I've got bruises from being in the crossfire the last time I was around the 
art vs. craft debate.
