Bob....move to Indiana...except for a few counties on the west state
line, we don't change ...no DST shuffle here.  The rest of the country
doesn't like us for it.  Somehow when everyone does something
insensible they think you're crazy for not doing it.  DST here means
it doesn't get dark till after 10:00 PM, not good for small children's
and old grumpy people's bed times  and the chickens all stay up so
late.

   Indiana should join Illinois in the Central time zone and then
switch to DST... that would solve everyone's problems with it... BUT,
that would take cooperation of the legislators and you know how that
goes.
