Nice fit and finish of the handles to the blades.

I'm not a knife person so what 'type' are these?  The blades seem short and 
wide but not as wide as the 'skinners' I've seen (I think they were called 
skinning knives).  Or is this just the size and shape that appealed to your 
eyes?
