bill,

you didn't say how much you wanted to spend. the ellis bandsaw would be my choice. you can see them at

they aren't cheap at $2000+ but if you can afford it they look like the best to me for miter cuts. i did a google search and found many used machinery dealers with these saws so maybe you could find a used one near you.

btw i have one of those enco/harbor freight/grizzly bandsaws. it's a hell of a saw for under $200 but still a looong way from an ellis. bottom line is what can you afford.
