Jeff,
You might challenge the dealer you bought the 185 from. Miller was 
selling the 210 with a free Spoolmate spool gun through the end of 2001, 
and because it was such a great deal many welding supply houses around 
here ordered dozens of extra units because they knew they could sell 
them. (I picked up one for my step-dad in-law, really). In fact there 
were a number of the 210s with spool guns on ebay the went for $1190.

I don't mean to say you didn't do well, but to see if you can get a 
spool gun out of the dealer,
