i live an easy 40 minute ride from lacrosse so i will go to the conf. i can come home at night which saves some money. this will be my first national in over 20 years as abana member so i can't see not going when it's this close.
i do think local chapter (affiliates??) events are way cheaper, easier to see what's going on, easier to chat with demonstrator etc.
before anyone gets their back up this is not meant as a slam at abana. only to say that abana has done such an excellent job of bringing everyone together that the chapters (darn! affiliates) now are strong enough to have some very nice local conferences.
Rick Crawford at Rafter Lazy C will you be at the beloit meeting in feb?
