I'm coming into this late.  I haven't checked my hotmail in awhile.
Thanks Brian.  I couldn't have said it better myself and I was there too.  
Bob Jacoby from Florida and Jerry Kagele from Washington worked together to 
hammer out the best language for this amendment to the bylaws. They did a 
great job conveying the intent of the entire board, to resolve the issues of 
chapter independence and liability in a way that was beneficial to all ABANA 
members and to all blacksmiths in general.

As a bylaw amendment, this comes up for a vote for the entire ABANA 
membership. Jerry Kagele and Bob Jacoby are the best ones to contact for 
detailed legal interpretations and questions of the amendment.  Dave M. 
already posted their contact info and you can also find all board member 
contact info on the abana website.

By the way, the conference is really shaping up nicely!  Check out the 
website for more details.  You can contact me directly if you or your 
partner needs more info on the family program activities.
