DAN ...do we have to go through all of this again? As far as the minutes, we
didn't hire a stenographer, and we did a big ritual where we burned all the
tapes,
it was great, you should have been there. So there is no three day long
transcript
of the meeting. Blacksmithing as a trade? How many full time 100% income
earned
blacksmiths are there in the United States? In Louisiana there may be 3 or
4, hardly
enough to call it a trade. When did ABANA ever "micro manage" anything other
than their own budget?
Read it again: ( note the words "independent", "separate" & "legal
liability" )

"Such affiliates shall be deemed by ABANA to be legal entities separate from
and
independent of ABANA. No activities of such affiliates, or their individual
members,
shall in any way be construed as creating any legal liability for ABANA or
it's
officers or directors. "

Look, I don't mind talking to anyone about anything. But I ain't no
lawyer.........
If you want to debate the legalities of this you need to talk to:
Jacoby, Bob [email protected] and Kagele, Jerry [email protected]
Bob is from Florida and Jerry is from Washington. Between them they cover
the
whole country. This is their department, it's what they do for a living. Ask
them.
I'm an artist/blacksmith for a living. Do you want to talk about something I
know about?
My job for the moment for ABANA is working with the Exhibits Committee for
the
2002 conference ( Chris Ray, Sorber, Colnik, Mastermier, NYSDB, members
gallery,
auction gallery, Over Seas Demonstrators gallery, juried exhibit, etc.) and
getting
cameras, monitors, lights, PA, video, web cams, telephones, computers,
e-mail,
radios or walkie-talkies & other stuff for the staff & the demonstrators for
the conference.
Dan you can see that I'm kinda busy, I would rather talk about something
that I know
a little about.
