But if you look at a hospitalization bill, maybe with an ambulance ride
attached, it's an astounding amount of money, and, my friends, it has to
come from somewhere.
Look at a hospital stay, complete with high costs due to malpractice
insurance and on and on, and average that into a monthly payment. Sure the
insurers are making money, maybe more than they should, but our nation is
pouring incredible amounts of money into the health care industry, too.
We want flawless facilities and quality people caring for us while we're
sick, and we have to make it worth their while or they won't do it (in
America you can still look for another job if the one you're doing isn't
satisfying).
