Well...yeah, that's easiest...and probably the most cost effective if you're 
doing them for sale....but, where's the fun in just buying them???

Thin stock, I'd probably use some variety of higher carbon (but I'm crazy, 
ask anyone), draw out a point, spiral around a thin mandrel...
