Dave,
The hook ends up with a half circle about 18 inches in diameter. I feed the stock into the bender and bend about 4 inches of stock at time. Each bend seems to be about 20-25 degrees of the circle. That means about 7 bends to get a half circle It bends really fast (by hand)and easily. I am using a piece of pipe that I have flattened to insert into the bending arm to extend the arm to about 4 feet. That extra leverage is enough to bend 1/2 square stock on the diagonal without a lot of effort.

I have been thinking about getting the hydralic attachment to make it even easier, but I am not sure it would be worth the money. Hand bending seems pretty fast an easy as it is.

Dan
