My ABANA membership is due for renewal.  I wont renew.  I feel that I get 
very little in return for my $50 - money which could be spent on books or 
mags or tools.   There is very little content at the ABANA website and, 
frankly,  the two publications that they put out are of inferior quality.

In other circumstances, I would overlook these deficiencies and support the 
organization out of a sense of loyalty but their heavy handed treatment of 
the anvil shoot business really turned me off.

If I make it to a conference some year, I will cough up ABANA dues for that 
occasion.
