Bob,
See http://www.monmouth.com/~freeman/bmf/grashopr.htm . This was done on TurboCad version 6.

daryl,
must say i wasn't too interested in this thread when it started but now i'm curious. i think the "user stupid" comment really drew me in. ha.
anyway i would be interested in seeing what kinds of things you/anyone has designed using a computer. it would be great to see pictures of the tool or object already made but still interesting to see various designs/blueprints/ideas/etc.
bob s.
ps. you can post pictures at theforge photo site (photopoint) url way down at the bottom.

>I looked into intelliCad I think all the versions out there have requirements far beond my machine. I did down load the TurboCad 2D and it works fine, but seems to be a little user stupid. I also have an old version of AutoCad mabye version 10. I think that the whole thing is on 4 or 5, 5 1/4" floppies. Two tell the truth, if it would run on this machine, I would use it. I do have an old 486 maybe I should just find an old printer. All I really needed was something to put out a dxf and dwg files. Any design work that I do is for myself, mainly to make blacksmithing tools. I wanted the dxf, so that I could send things out for laser cutting.
