John,

I just got off the phone with Pat Chesterton who is the district manager
for Crucible Steel located on Long Island. He said that he has S-1 in
5/8, 3/4 and larger diameter bars. The current minimum is $100. His
direct line is 800-232-3404. He said he can deal with credit card
orders.

He also indicated that most S-1 has been replaced by S-7.

The last S-1 I bought came from Crucible Steel. www.crucible.com  They
have service centers nationwide. I bought two bars of 3/4" round from
their Philly(PA) center.
