But Marc,  if "Reply to All" sends to both the list and to the original 
sender, won't the original sender end up getting two copies.  In the case of 
this "reply to all" it not only sends it to the list but it addresses it to 
you and to Mike.  Now you and Mike are going to get three copies of the note. 
 And, heaven forbid, if you or Mike "reply to all " on this note then it will 
send out 4 generations of the post adding me to the evergrowing list of 
addressees.  This doesn't seem real good to me.

Also, aren't most replies meant for the list, where very few are meant to go 
to just the original sender.  From my point of view I'd much rather see the 
reply go to the list and if I want to send Mike or Bob or ??? a direct 
message then I'll make the extra effort then.  But for the list replies the 
easy way is the best way.
