I looked some more into the Model 10 today. The other day when I compared the range resistor's values to the schematic, their values didn't agree and, mostly, were running a bit high; however, I realized that those are wire wound types and, so, they should not have changed much if at all.
I opened the Model 10 again today and now I see that the range resistor's values are labeled and they check extremely close to their labeled values; however, those values do not agree with the schematic in the booklet I have that came with both units.
This brings me to wonder if I have a different version of the Model 10 and, even more so, which version of the 310 I have. I understand there are a few(?) different versions but I cannot see anything in the 310 or the 10 that indicates which version those are. That leads me to think that they both are the original versions but I don't have anything to back that up.
Is there a way to tell which version I have of both/either unit and, mostly, were there different versions of the Model 10 that might account for the difference in the resistors that are in mine?
Thanks,
Barry - N4BUQ
