Hi Ed,

I have not found a "Type" labeled anywhere on my meter and, while I'm no expert here, I think that may indicate it's a Type 1.  Apparently both the Type 1 and Type 2 have a single single AC scale where the later models have three AC scales.

Mine has the range switch whose arm is underneath the range selections whereas some newer models have that arm above plastic faceplate.

I'm still unsure, though, why the range resistors in the Model 10 I have differ from the values shown in the schematic.  They're wire-wound resistors and virtually spot on their labeled values.  I just can't explain that.
