Free to a good home:  Knight-kit hand held grid dip meter.  Been around the block a good bit.  Meter is fine, plastic cover needs cleaning and polishing.  Body is okay, needs cleaning.  Rotating frequency dial is fine.  Only the UHF sensor is present.

Might be fun to see if you could roll your own coil set.  the coil socket is an FT-243 crystal socket so technically accessible.  Unit, according to the BAMA manual covers 1.5 to 300 mc (AKA mHZ).
