Of course he knows. He is a retired electronic engineer, master restorer,
and could easily make his own adapter but he would prefer to find an
original, just like I would if in the same situation. The Thrill of the
Hunt is always fun.

Does he know that there is no mystery to this adapter? It is just
four sockets, two caps, an 8P14T rotary switch, and an octal plug.
