[Test-Equipment] HP 8640B WTB AM Modulation Switch

I have replaced both slider switches before, yes the broken part will slide right out and the replacement part, if you can find one, will slide right in. Watch eBay and you might find a slide switch show up, perhaps someone on this group or the Agilent Yahoo group might have a hangar queen they can strip the switch slider off of. The switch sliders frequently break and are in demand.

I have an HP 8640B with a seriously wrecked AM modulation slide switch.

The motherboard and the parts of the switch attached to it seem intact, but
the slide is FUBAR.

If I remove the front panel and the left side rail I can slip the remains of
the slider off the left end of the switch body.

Is the slider a replaceable part? Any idea of a source?

I suppose I could replace the entire motherboard, but I haven't been able to
find one for sale. I'd even be willing to buy a damaged motherboard and from
which I could salvage the switch.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
