Test equipment for sale:
Heath VC-3 Oscilloscope "Voltage Calibrator":
This unit is used to output precise values of voltage so that
an oscilloscope can be calibrated. It uses three tubes and
some very precision resistors.
Apparently this unit was produced in the late 1950's and early
1960's. This one looks very nice. It does have a small chip
out of the back corner, but otherwise is very good. It has had
the electrolytic caps in it replaced, and it has output which
varies as one turns the amplitude switch.
Paperwork is included for only $20.
Kepco Variable Bench Power Supply:
This is an ideal bench power supply! It is a Kepco Model ABC
40-0.5, which means that it will produce from zero up to 40 V
DC at up to 1/2 amp. Great for the bench.
The voltage is adjustable with a 10 turn pot from close to zero,
up to about 40 volts. There is a fairly large analog meter that
reads the voltage. There is also current limiting built in that
is adjustable from about 100 ma to up to about 700 ma. The same
meter that reads voltage can be switched to read current, or
short circuit current (the point that the current limit is set).
In addition, there are connections on the back to allow remote
sensing and remote programming. This is a quality regulated
power supply!
This particular unit works 100%, and looks extremely nice. $85
Micro-Z Frequency Prescaler:
Do you have a frequency counter that does not cover 2 meters,
but you want to check the frequency of your 2 meter rig? If so,
this is what you need. It is a divide by 10 frequency prescaler.
Connect the prescaler to your frequency counter, and a short
antenna to the prescaler, and you can do it.
This unit works OK, and looks OK, assuming you like the red
color of the cover that Micro-Z used. Powered by 115 V AC.
$15
SWR Bridges / Wattmeters For Sale:
All have SO-239 connectors and work fine.
Vanco SWR-2 SWR Bridge / Wattmeter
It covers from 1.7 to 150 MHz. It has a single meter, and
is actually a 10 W and 100 W full scale watt meter as well
as the "normal" SWR meter. It is still in its original box,
with original paper work, and appears to be new. $25.
Lafayette 99-25835 SWR Bridge
This HF single meter SWR Bridge also functions as a field
strength meter. This one is also in its original box, with
original paper work and appears to be new. $20
Radio Shack 21-524 SWR and Power Meter
This HF meter measures both average and PEP power in 20/200/2000
watt ranges as well as functioning as a regular SWR meter.
Looks close to new. With paperwork for $25.
This SWR bridge is good for use from 3 to 150 MHz, meaning it will
cover the HF bands (not including 160 meters), but also 2 meters
and 6 meters. This is a well constructed homebrew unit measuring
about 4 x 4 by 2 1/2 inches (plus knob and connectors).
SO-239 connectors are on the side.
This one works fine and looks fine as well. $12
25 KHz Crystal Calibrator:
This unit is marked "25 Kc Frequency Standard".
It produces markers at 25 KHz intervals for calibrating
your receiver.
This unit is a homebrew unit using two transistors and one
IC, and is powered by three AA batteries. Of course it
includes a 100 KHz crystal that is divided by four. It is
in a black enclosure about 5 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches
deep by 3 1/2 inches high. $15
Miscellaneous Heath Parts:
Heath HM-102/HM-2102 Wattmeter Parts (all are common to both meters):
Outer clam shell cabinet (left and right sides plus top) in nice
condition. $12
Dark Green knobs with aluminum skirt, 1 1/8 inch in diameter.
These are the same knobs as used in all of the SB series of
transceivers, receivers, transmitters and accessories. $5 each
Set of four feet, w/hardware. $10
Three position SWR/Power switch
Switches between SWR, high and low power. $7
I have many Heath SB-630 Station Console parts available. Most of
the internal parts are available, but no clock. The clock movement,
knobs, front panel, outer case and reflectometer assembly are gone,
but switches, etc. are still available. Please let me know what you
need.
I also have parts from a Heath HD-15 phone patch available.
What do you need?
Parting out Daiwa Wattmeter:
These parts all come from a Daiwa CN-460 M wattmeter which
covers from 140 to 460 MHz. This is the "mobile" type of
meter. Except for the actual reflectometer assembly, the
other parts should fit any of the various "mobile" Daiwa
wattmeters.
Reflectometer assembly
Covers from 140 to 450 MHz. SO-239 connectors in and out.
Includes the three wires that go to the switch board, and
mounting screw. $12
High Low Power Switch board
This includes the switch and the small circuit board that
includes the four adjustment pots - high power forward
and reflected, and low power forward and reflected. Single
mounting screw included. $7
Light assembly
With two good bulbs, circuit board, wire pigtail, and two
mounting screws. $6
Outer plastic case
Should be the same as all of the mobile meters.
With mounting screw. $5
Buy all above for $25.
Micronta Radio Shack 22-024 Transistor Tester:
This unit is capable of checking a wide range of transistor
types, either "in circuit" or out of circuit. It was designed
to utilize dynamic testing under current amplifier conditions.
The visual indication of the output signal is the result of
dynamic current gain in an actual operating circuit.
This particular unit is in the original box. However someone
left a battery in it, so it needs the battery holder cleaned,
plus some general clean up.
With paper work for $15.
Solid State 5U4 Rectifiers:
These are solid state replacements for 5U4 vacuum tube
rectifiers. Basically it is a glob of epoxy with an
octal base to plug into the original 5U4 socket. The
silk screen on the base says "S-5U4 Silicon Rectifier
Tube Replacement." No manufacturer indicated.
Two are available for $15 each.
Coax connectors and adapters:
Prices are per connector. Several of each are available.
Most are unused.
SPECIAL: Buy 5 and take 10% off.
Buy 10 or more and take 20% off.
