[Test-Equipment] tube tester problem

I have a B&K 700 tube tester that isn't working correctly. All resistors have been checked and all electrolytic caps have been replaced but it isn't working properly. It is doing the following:
1. When turned on, the meter needle stays to the left as it should.
2. With the selector in the correct position, when the test button is pushed with a tube installed, the meter goes negative to the left.
3. When the grid emission test button is pushed, the meter pegs completely to the right (maximum).
4. AS seven 6SG7 tubes are tested one by one, all test results are identical.
The tube tester has a NEW rectifier tube and NEW 6BN8 tube installed in it.
Anyone with a B&K 700 had such an experience such as this with the B&K 700 tube tester? Shat do you think? Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW
