[Test-Equipment] General Radio 1714

I have two boards, one marked 1717-4740B and the other marked 1714-4750C.
I think that these are from a GR 1714 display processor.
Are these boards of any use other than parts?
They were in a lot of boards that I got for parts.
Can anyone tell me what the boards are for?
If anyone can use these they can be had reasonable.
All of the plugin chips have been removed.
