    I got a hard copy of the B from a pay for site some 
years ago. I have never seen either A or B on the web. I 
also would like to know the difference between the A and the 
B plus the purpose of an undocumented adjustable coil 
inside.
    The standard crystal on mine quite some years ago. I 
replaced it with a 10 MHZ TV type crystal I got from ebay. I 
think these were a dollar each so I got several and selected 
on which was right on.  Its stayed right on.  I use my 
marker all the time.  I don't know the location of the 
handbook, I think its in a filing cabinet in storage. I will 
have a look but can't do it right away.
