These are not modern probes like Tek, HP, Pomona or Mueller probes of recent decades (which I have owned for decades and use frequently). These are '50s probes intended for use with the 5-6 MHz bandwidth radio-TV service 'scopes of the period. Photos found online uniformly show 'scope cables that appear to be RG-58, and the dielectric and braid exposed at the spade-lug terminals look like RG-58. The fact that they were intended to connect to binding posts for the 'scope vertical input betrays their intended use in the radio-TV service trade. I don't plan to use them, they are just some of the vintage items in my collection of instrumentation and test equipment that I wish to restore.
