I have used the Deoxit pot cleaner with very good
success. It leaves a residue of lubricant and does not seem
to attack the resistance track. In the past I used regular
Deoxit D-5 and other cleaners before it with good success
but have also had the resistance element of a very high
value pot peel off. That happened only once so I don't think
it proves much.
